"Quilt Magazine Inspiration" challenge
STEP 1: Grab any quilting related magazine.
STEP 3: Select one of these 3 pages from the magazine as your inspiration.
PAGE 23, PAGE 39 or PAGE 75
STEP 4: Make a quilt inspired by the page in the magazine.
You can use any techniques you wish. The only requirement is that it has to be at least 36 inches on any side.
STEP 5: Bring the quilt and the magazine to the October OLAQ meeting.
Members attending the meeting will vote on their top 3 choices, ranking them 1, 2 and 3.
For each vote ranked #1, the quilt gets 3 points.
For each vote ranked #2, the quilt gets 2 points.
For each vote ranked #3, the quilt gets 1 point.
The quilt with the highest number of points takes first place, the next highest takes second place and the third highest gets third place. In case of a tie, the prize money will be split evenly.
