You asked how to make sheets. We all work with 90" fabric or 108" fabric and this makes
great sheets.
Measure the top of your mattress. queens are about 60x80 and are 8" high some have pillow
tops and are 10" high.
How much do you want to turn under? then add that.. I add 6" so I cut my fabric:
bottom to top: 80" + each side 22"= 102" wide
side to side:60" +22"=82"
then lay all corners together and cut out the corners which equals to 11" square. Sew up the
corners and you now have elastic to add: 80+80+60+60=280"- 40" for pulling force.. I mark
my elastic in 1/4ths and then in 1/2 so it comes out equal stretch. I fold the fabric over the
elastic and stretch as I sew. My sheets stay on the bed.
